The Lucida Framework is a practical methodology I developed to help organisations align their data structures with complex compliance requirements—without losing sight of usability or innovation. It provides a clear process for translating regulatory expectations into consistent data models, taxonomies, and governance practices that work across business units. Designed for real-world application, Lucida helps teams gain clarity, reduce reporting friction, and build a foundation for automation and traceability.

The methodology was developed during my work leading the creation of a unified data standard for Australia’s upcoming packaging regulation. This involved aligning recyclability assessments, placed-on-market reporting, fee models, and international standards (ISO 59020/59040) across government, industry, and sustainability stakeholders (Open3P, GS1, WBCSD and Anthesis) —transforming fragmented inputs into a shared, actionable data foundation.
